This week, telecommunications giant Verizon officially acquired Frontier, the largest pure-play fiber provider in the US, operating across 25 states. The acquisition brings news of a few new deals that new and existing customers of both telecoms can take advantage of, including 6 months of fiber internet (up to 1 Gig) for free.

If you’re an existing Verizon mobile customer or a new customer, you can combine your mobile and home internet plans and get 6 months of Frontier fiber internet on Verizon (with Auto Pay set up). Depending on which plan you choose, you’ll receive up to $35 in monthly credit on your bill, applied over 6 months, starting within 2 to 3 billing cycles. After six months, you’ll pay up to $35 per month, depending on your plan.

Other fine print: This offer can’t be combined with other internet service offers, and you’ll have to pay a $100 prorated early termination fee if you cancel within 12 months.

For existing Frontier fiber customers, you can get four mobile lines for $20 per line per month, or a single line for $40 per month (on the Unlimited Welcome plan with Auto Pay set up). You can also get a new iPhone 17 included with each new line, no trade-in required. If you’re already paying off another phone, Verizon will help pay it off up to $800 when you make the switch.

If you’re a business customer, the companies have a few deals for you, too: Existing Frontier Business Fiber customers can get My Biz mobile plans for as low as $20 per line per month with a 5G phone and mobile hotspot included. Existing Verizon Business mobile customers can get six months of Frontier Business Fiber on Verizon. And all plans come with an ongoing $20 monthly bundle discount.

Verizon first agreed to acquire Frontier in Sept. 2024, for $9.6 billion. With Frontier, Verizon now reaches 31 states and Washington, DC.

If you’re already a customer of either telecom or you’re interested in switching, don’t miss these deals.

How I rated this deal

These deals are solid offers for both existing Verizon and Frontier customers, as well as for new customers interested in combining mobile and home internet plans.
